Cadieux Cafe Group Charity Ride and Social 8/10/2022 (a Wednesday)

Description

This Cadieux Cafe “Group Charity Ride” will benefit Michigan Junior Cycling Development, via your $20 suggested donation.  The ride and after-party/dinner are otherwise FREE!
Just donate, on this page and please also RSVP on the Facebook EVENT so that we can let the Cadieux Cafe know how much food to prepare.
NOTE:  If you are donating for multiple attendees, please increase your order quantity to reflect the number of persons in your party.

Event Details:

The ride leaves Cadieux Cafe promptly at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday 8/10/2022.
We will have two groups with designated leaders, as follows:

• 26 Mile Belle Isle Loop :: Faster group (e.g. 20 mph) with one lap around Belle Isle and back, approximately 75 minutes (with stop lights).
• 17 Mile Lake Loop :: Casual group (e.g. 15 mph) along the shores of Lake St. Clair and back, approximately 75 minutes (with stop lights).

Helmet and lights required for safety because the sun is getting low in the sky with sunset at 8:39 p.m. that evening.

The after-party will be in the Cafe’s new outdoor seating area.  As a result this will be a “weather permitting” kind of event, and we may shift it to to a later Wednesday in August if need be.  Be sure to bring a jacket and possibly some long pants for the party, as it could be chilly outside after dark.

NOTE:  Drinks are “a la carte” as is anything else you may choose to order from the menu.

NOTE:  If you come just for the after-party, plan on 7:45 p.m. or so.
Suggested donation is the same, because the ride itself is free.
