This Cadieux Cafe “Group Charity Ride” is a community ride to benefit Michigan Junior Cycling Development Program.

This is an “at will ride” that is free to anyone who wants to do the ride.

We are asking for a free will Donation ($20 suggested minimum donation or more) to help fund the development of junior riders in Michigan.

If you are a current Cadieux Bicycle Club member and donate at least $20, then the dinner portion of this event will be free. Non-members can join the club, otherwise the catered social is $40, provided you have donated at least $20 to the charity.

NOTE: If you are donating for multiple attendees, please increase your order quantity to reflect the number of persons in your party.

Event Details:

The ride leaves Cadieux Cafe promptly at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday 8/12/2026.
We will have one groups with designated leaders.

ROUTE SUBJECT TO CHANGE:

17 Mile Lake Loop :: Casual group (e.g. 15 mph) along the shores of Lake St. Clair and back, approximately 75 minutes (with stop lights).

The after-party will be in the Cafe’s outdoor seating area. As a result this will be a “weather permitting” kind of event, and we may shift it to to a later Wednesday in the season if need be.

NOTE: The social is CATERED, but drinks are “a la carte” as is anything else you may choose to order from the menu.

NOTE: If you come just for the after-party, plan on 7:45 p.m. or so.
