Who wants to ride MOUNTAIN BIKES . . . ALL FREAKIN’ DAY ? ! ?

We all do right ? Check. This. Out ! The PONTI-LOO goes down Labor Day weekend Saturday (Sept 3) with the rain / weather date being Sunday (Sept 4).

What’s PONTI-LOO ? It is a multi trail celebration beginning at Pontiac Lake Recreation Area and ending at the DTE Energy Foundation Trail. Riders will complete a full lap at Pontiac Lake, abbreviated laps at Highland Rec, Milford Trail, Island Lake Rec, Brighton Rec AND The Poto followed by the icing on the cake, a full lap at the DTE Trail. Delicious right ?

This beauty clocks in at just over 100 miles. (Route deets by Jake here; https://ridewithgps.com/routes/37433673).

We are planning for a 10 hour pace with stops. Which includes a couple of quick water stops and a 30 minute lunch stop in Brighton hosted by the Smith Family. We do want to ride all day. Not all night. Remember, night time is party time. More on the post ride action coming shortly.

The goal is to keep the group together but there will be some spirited efforts being thrown down that’s for damn sure. That said, there will be a 5 minute regroupment buffer following each trail segment. If you can roll a 10 hour Lumberjack, you should be good to go for the full PONTI-LOO. If you’re not sure, feel free to make the ride what you’d like. Join us for the start and meet us at the end. Find a friend to shuttle you or drive to each trail. It’s all possible for you at PONTI – LOO 22′ ! We’d love to have you along !

So, If you find yourself in the area Labor Day weekend come adventure with us. Pack the stoke, good vibes and plenty of snacks for what is certain to be an epic day.
